    What if I forget the password?

    Nobody can recover it, including us. Keep a copy of the original file, or save the password in a safe place.

    What does "block copying and editing" do?

    People still need the password to open the file and can print it, but PDF readers that follow the rules will stop them from copying text or editing pages.

    How do I remove the password later?
