    Frequently asked questions

Is it free to edit a PDF here?

Yes. Editing is free, needs no account and adds no watermark.

    Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your document stays on your device.

Can I change the existing text in the PDF?

Not directly. Cover the old text with a white-out box, then add your new text on top. To the reader it looks like the text was changed.

Does a white-out box delete the text underneath?

No. It only covers it, and the original text can still be copied from the file. To remove private information for good, use a proper redaction tool.

Can I type in Urdu, Arabic or Hindi?

Yes. Text in other scripts is added as a sharp image of your text, so it looks right on every device.
